But her skills as a chef go way beyond these categories, and her history as a creator of delicious and flavorful foods comes from a long, rich history.

Born in rural St. James, Jamaica, Deon Sterling, aka Queen D, learned the art of cooking from a family of skilled chefs.
Raised on organic ingredients and traditional techniques, her culinary journey started at age seven.
Relocating to Kingston, she expanded her skills, specializing in local and international cuisine in a post-secondary institution, and later earned a culinary degree at age 18.
Queen D broke culinary norms becoming a chef at the age of 21. Blending tradition with innovation in top Jamaican and US establishments.
